Having on the breastplate

...and having on the breastplate of righteousness,   Ephesians 6.14

A breastplate is used to cover, protect, and guard vital organs, such as the heart and lungs, from enemy attacks.

Righteousness is God's way of being and doing right.

Christ is our righteousness. Born again believers can say that they are made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The peace of God that keeps our hearts and minds is through Christ Jesus.

Put you on the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for the flesh...
