Learn to pray, “Should I
go up?"
How many useless battles I as a Christian can avoid daily—if I just keep
my
mouth in line with God.
As I learn to ask God before I enter the battles of strife, argument, or debate—I will never
enter those dangerous traps of the enemy.
As I simply talk to God— I will learn to ignore the temptation to “respond back”
to someone who criticizes me.
God can control my tongue—God can guard my lips and keep my mouth shut—if I
give Him permission to do so.
God, alone, can cause me to be quiet and avoid the traps set by the enemy.
God can make my days beautiful and
blessed if I talk to Him before I go up
to battle. “Set
a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.”
Psalms 141.3 |
