Front line combat — a position of
joy
Attacks are noisy— and dodging enemy arrows can be challenging. However, for the child of God called to “front-line” duty—it is a joy to run and
not be weary and to walk and not faint. Instead
of defense—the front-line soldier goes on “offense”. He
runs toward the enemy—toward the giants—toward the battle.
This
kind of warrior does not know the word “defeat”—because If
a front-line warrior stumbles and falls—he immediately gets back up into
position and attacks the enemy lines in even greater ways.
He laughs in battle for the joy that
victory in Jesus brings!
“Blessed
be the Lord, my strength, who teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to
fight…” Psalms 144.1
