Stay on the path —don’t put
out enemy fires!
When
you are walking after the Spirit in obedience to God—
When
you are being led by God to accomplish something for the kingdom of God—–You
become a threat to the devil.
Therefore, the devil will use people or situations in order to get you
sidetracked from your purpose—to get you angry, upset, fearful, or distracted.
These “emergency” situations will “need” your help——— immediately—they will
insist that no one else can handle the problem.
These
situations will occur at your job, your home, your church, and even among your
family. These situations must be
recognized for what they really are—false responsibility.
Learn to say, “NO” and to stay about your calling—–stay on task with the Lord.
Don’t try to put out these false fires.
Remember, if you chase after the devil’s false fires—he will keep on setting them.
Jesus said,
“...I must be about my
Father’s business.”
Luke
2.49
