The meek don’t try to deliver themselves.

 Meekness means “power under control”.                       

Jesus was meek—–He had all power under His control.

Yet, He submitted to His Heavenly Father’s will—–even to the death of the cross.

Because Jesus was meek, He redeemed mankind and took back the title deed of the earth that Adam had given to the devil.

For it is written, “The meek shall inherit the earth.”   Matthew 5.5
