Difficulty

• Don’t cause difficulty, discomfort, pain, or injury to yourself.

• Don’t bring woe upon yourself through offending yourself.

Matthew 18.8-9

Wherefore if your hand——(the things you do, the things you hold on to, the things you touch)

Or your foot———(the things you stand for, the places you go, the direction you walk)

OFFEND THEE——–(hurts you, causes you to sin or fall)

Cut it off, and cast it from thee.——(STOP DOING IT!)

It is better for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire.

And if your eye———(what you look at, your perception of life)

OFFEND THEE——(brings you pain, bondage, separation from God)

Pluck it out, and cast it from thee———–(STOP LOOKING YOUR WAY!)

 It is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.

Remember, things that bring you down and destroy you are not worth holding on to—–anything that offends you —–stop doing it and stop looking at it.

Father, In Jesus Name, I pray for the person reading this Bible Study. Please open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and reveal to them anything in their life that is hurting them and keeping them back from the glorious liberty they can have in You. As they surrender to Your will please set them free. Amen.
