Disease is dis-ease

What man is he that feareth the Lord? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

His soul shall dwell at ease, and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Psalms 25.12-13

When disease is present the body suffers the pain and it is hard to physically rest.

When disease is present the mind, will, and emotions are constantly battling to think right, choose right, and react right.  It is a temptation to have a pity party or to allow the spirit of depression and discouragement  to control.

When disease is present even the spirit of man will try to sustain the infirmity. It is more of an effort to read the Bible and pray and to not be distracted from doing and speaking the Word of God.

This is why Jesus came to heal all our diseases.  He brings healing in every area.

Isaiah 53.5 states that by his stripes we are healed.

 That's why Acts 2. 25-26 states: for David speaketh concerning him: I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. Therefore, did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh shall rest in hope…

 That's why Psalms 103.1-3 says: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases.  Psalms 116.7 states: Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

That's why I Thessalonians 5.23 states: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All praise to the Lord Jesus Christ who heals our body, soul, and spirit!!!
