Deception concerning Healing

Deception in the area of healing is now being revealed around the World--this is one of the greatest areas of deception in the churches today.

It is deception coming out of legalistic churches--this deception has blinded the hearts in order to keep the body of Christ oppressed.

This deception states that God wants you sick to glorify him--that God wants you to go through the most painful medical tests and physical hurt to glorify Him--that painful suffering glorifies God (doesn't this sound more like baal worship--where they inflicted cuts and pain on themselves in order to worship and please their god) We are warned about this in the last days. 

This deception states that sickness is a good witnessing tool.

Jesus didn't send out 12 sick disciples--instead He sent out 12 disciples to whom he gave power to heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead and cast out devils.

This deception states that it glorifies God if His saints are sick and hurting and filling hospitals. (What do you see Jesus doing if He walked into a hospital?) The Bible says that Jesus healed all who came to Him. "And the people, when thy knew it, followed him; and he received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing." (Luke 9.11)

If people think it is God's will for them to be sick then they are not going to come to Jesus to heal them.  If people think that healing is given by God to only those who are deserving of it, then they will not come to Jesus for healing.  If Christians are told by man's doctrines that healing is not for today, then they will not come to Jesus for healing.

If Christians don't read and study the Bible then they won't know the scriptures that state, "thy word is health to all my flesh." or "He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions."(Psalms107.20)

Jesus said to the woman with the issue of blood (who had spent all her living on doctors and had suffered many things at their hands and neither who could be healed by any), who came and touched the hem of his garment and was totally healed, "Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace." (Luke 8.48)  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10.17)

If Christians don't read the Bible they won't know about the Holy Spirit and power. They won't experience the power of the Gospel. Paul stated in  I Thessalonians 1.5 "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."

Luke 5.17 talks about Jesus (who is the wisdom and the power of God) teaching and it says,"and the power of the Lord was present to heal them."

The deception that teaches God wants His people sick and diseased actually mocks why God sent Jesus to the cross of Calvary.

If sickness glorifies God then why does Isaiah 53 state that by Jesus' stripes we are healed?

Why would Jesus take away something that glorified the Father?

Why are we told in the New Testament to anoint with oil and to pray one for another that ye may be healed --if sickness glorifies God?

In the Old Testament it states that God's word is health to all our flesh and in the New Testament Jesus the Word made flesh went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. (Acts 10.38)  The apostle John states (III John 2), "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers."--(Why?--so we can  go to the ends of the earth with the good news of the gospel.)

In Deuteronomy 28 God tells His people to obey Him to avoid the curses which include sickness and disease-- He says choose blessing and life.

God is a good God. He is a holy God. He gives us the choice to choose His ways --we have the choice to reject healing--the choice to reject what Jesus died to give us. Rejecting God's healing doesn't change the truth about healing--it just means the person rejecting it won't experience it.

We have the choice to reject what the Bible says and to listen to man's doctrines or the devil's lies instead.  Proverbs 14.12 says, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

We also have the choice to read the Bible for ourselves and find out what God has to say about healing and disease.  It is time to hear what the Bible has to say and not what men's or church doctrines say that it says. "Then said Jesus unto those Jews who believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."  Paul states to Timothy "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2.15)  It is time to come in line with the Bible and receive all that the Bible says is ours as believers in Jesus Christ. 

Before sin entered the world there was no sickness--The Garden of Eden had no sickness--God walked in the Garden.

In heaven there will be no sickness or disease--God is there.

If God's Presence in the form of the Holy Spirit is dwelling in you-- then sickness has to go from His Presence. Christians are the healed of the Lord resisting and casting out the sickness and disease that would try to take us captive. 

Whether we have sinned and brought the consequences of sickness and disease upon ourselves or sickness has gotten on us through living in this sin dominated world-- the Bible states in Romans that we are free from sin's dominion. It is time to be obedient to the Lord--to know and speak the Word--

Jesus came to free us from the curses that came because we couldn't obey the law. ( Galatians 3.13)

God's people are not under the law but under grace. This is not a license to sin, but grace brings us liberty to become all we are supposed to be in Christ Jesus.  Matthew 8.17 says that "He (Jesus) himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."  He took our infirmities and weaknesses---what an insult to Him if we try to keep them.

Sin brought sickness into the world---we may be in the world, but as Christians we are not of the world--Jesus prayed that we be kept from the world--sin is not to have dominion over us. Romans 6.14 states, "For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law but under grace."--that includes sickness.

 It is time to start coming in line with the Word of God in our actions and speech--to become doers of the Word not deceiving our own selves--not walking in man's doctrines that deny the power of God or in man's traditions that make the commandment of God of none effect--shake off and cast out the deception with its sickness--and go about King's business. 

 The King is coming!!!

Christians are the healed of the Lord.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
