Take the Helmet

And take the helmet of salvation...Ephesians 6.17

A helmet is necessary to protect the head,  because the head affects all the body.

The head gives instructions and coordinates actions.

A helmet keeps the warrior's head safe from enemy attacks, so that he can finish a battle victoriously.

We learn from the Word of God about the glorious salvation we have through Jesus Christ.  We learn of eternal life, healing, and deliverance. 

The Bible tells God's thoughts so that a warrior can know what is right and wrong and can line their thoughts and actions up accordingly.

We use the Bible to bring every thought into captivity.

We have the mind of Christ.

Be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
