Mind-Thoughts Yielded mind Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, Philippians 2.5 Humble, obedient mind Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men; And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2.6-8 Love God with all your mind And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment, And the second is this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12.30-31 Stayed mind Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26.3 Not a doubtful mind And seek not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of a doubtful mind....But rather seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke12.29,31 Sound mind-no fear For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1.7 Spiritual mind-not fleshly For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither, indeed, can be, So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God. but ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 7.5-9 Right mind-no devil control Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid. They also who saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed. Luke 8.35-36 No double mind-no wavering If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. but let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed, For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1.5-8 A mind ready for action Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ, As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance but, as he who hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation, because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. I Peter 1.13-16 Pure mind that remembers God's Word ...I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance, That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior; Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they are willingly ignorant of...II Peter 3.1-5 Willing mind For if there first be a willing mind...II Corinthians 8.12 Mind of love and unity in the Lord...that ye may be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2.2 Lowliness of mind-right motives Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Philippians 2.3-4 Mind kept by the peace of God Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4.4-7
