Proverbs 31 Woman by Bobbie Powers

Chapter 7

Proverbs 31.7 "…and remember his misery no more."

Without hope adults give up. The same is true of children. The world today does not hold out any hope to its inhabitants. The world in its sin is becoming worse and worse. What about the future of the children?

The Proverbs 31 woman has her eyes on the Lord and off the world's lack of hope. Her hope "is in the Lord who made the heavens and the earth". Furthermore, she teaches this hope to her children.

The Proverbs 31 woman knows that there are rewards for the righteous and that the wicked will perish. She knows the importance of "finishing the race".

These values the Proverbs 31 mother shares with her children. She teaches them through Bible promises. She encourages her children to finish projects that they start in order that they might learn the value of completion.

Furthermore, the Proverbs 31 mother rejoices in the Lord and thanks Him for His victories. She teaches her children how to pray, take authority in Jesus' name, and to stand on and speak the scripture for various situations. Then the Proverbs 31 mother is quick to point out God's answers and to lead her children in a prayer of thanksgiving.
