Proverbs 31 Woman  by Bobbie Powers

Chapter 2

Proverbs 31.2 "What my son?"…

Questions, questions, and more questions can roll forth off the tongues of children. Children ask questions because they need answers in order to draw a conclusion or make a decision. Children learn how to imitate what they think or feel by watching and asking questions.

Children need time to ask questions at home. Mothers need to make the time to listen and talk with their children. By listening a mother is enabling her children to learn and figure out the proper response to certain situations.

Children reflect their parents’ attitudes, habits, and failures. It is important for a child's confidence that his/her questions are treated as important.

A Proverbs 31 woman recognizes that she has the personal responsibility of paying attention to the responses that she makes to her children's questions.

A Proverbs 31 woman watches the words of her mouth and gives Godly counsel and wisdom as answers to questions. She does not teach folk tales, superstitions, or put off questions with a flippant answer or  "Go ask your father".

A Proverbs 31 woman recognizes the importance of listening and guiding with God's direction.
