Proverbs 31 Woman by Bobbie Powers 

Chapter 8   

Proverbs 31.8 "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction."

Mothers need to "stand in the gap" for their children, as well as other lost individuals. Mothers should tell their children how to be saved (born again) and pray for their children until they are born again.

The Proverbs 31 woman is a "soul winner". She witnesses to those around her through her words and her actions. She boldly lets her light shine wherever she goes and she is always prepared to give an answer as to the hope that dwells within her.

She teaches witnessing to her children as they observe her ministering to others in Jesus' name. The Proverbs 31 mother helps and encourages her children to pray for their friends and family members who do not know Christ Jesus. She encourages her children to invite unsaved friends at school to attend church with them, and willingly gets their parents permission, and then takes the children to church with her own family.

Most importantly the Proverbs 31 mother teaches her children how to lead someone to Christ by encouraging her children to realize how they were saved and how to simply be willing to tell their experience to another person.
