Not My Will

Jesus submitted His will to God the Father's Will

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. John 4.34

and makes this statement

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Mark 3.35

Paul submitted and states

For it is God who worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2.13

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  I Thessalonians 5.18

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication; I Thessalonians 4.3

...that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.  Colossians 4.12

Not with eyeservice, as men pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with good will doing service as to the Lord, and not to men, Knowing that whatever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Ephesians 6.6-8

Peter submitted and states

Forasmuch, then, as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin, That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men but to the will of God. I Peter 4.2

...abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation...For so is the will of God, that with well-doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men; I Peter 2.11-12,15

John submitted and states

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1.12-13

And the world passeth away, and the lust of it; but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. I John 2.17

James submitted and states

For ye ought to say, if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. James 4.15

David submitted and states

And who, then, is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?    I Chronicles 29.5

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power...Psalms 110.3

Will you submit your will to God's Will?

Prayer for you

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13.20-21
