Powerful Word Preaching the Word with the Holy Ghost and Power is the requirement set by God. The apostle Paul states in I Thessalonians 1.5,"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake." The apostle Paul also states in I Corinthians 2.4 "And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; (and here was the reason) I Corinthians 2.5 "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." The Word must be preached with power--The Holy Spirit and Power must be involved when the Word is preached. Acts 10.38 states "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost, and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." You can preach without the anointing to a sick congregation and they will get sicker or you can preach and speak with the anointing (which is the Holy Ghost and power )and your sick congregation will get healed and delivered. They will become mighty in taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. Remember this--preaching the Word without the Holy Ghost and power puts the preacher and the congregation in danger of severe attack by the enemy-- because without the anointing they are unprotected.
