Profitable

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient (profitable); all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. I Corinthians 6.12

When making decisions I have learned to choose what will be profitable for my life and the calling that is on me.  Certain things are good, but I want what is excellent--because I serve an excellent God.  The Bible says about God--"How excellent is thy name in all the earth." Psalms 8.9

Paul said when talking about the church wanting the best gifts--yet show I unto you a more excellent way--and he began to talk about the gifts in operation with the fruit of the Holy Spirit --what an excellent balance. I Corinthians 13

Choosing God's way of excellence will promote you as a leader.  "Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. " Daniel 6.3

Make all your daily decisions based on what is God's excellence for you. What will further His Kingdom and His rule in your life. Choose what is profitable.
