Your feet shod with the preparation

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Ephesians 6.15

Peace is powerful. It keeps you steady and balanced correctly.

A soldier can't go to war barefoot.  He must be prepared. He must have his shoes on.

A warrior is supposed to tread over all the power of the enemy and take every piece of land that his foot touches.

In Bible times the winner in a battle always put his foot on the necks of his enemies. Joshua had his leaders put their feet on the necks of the defeated kings. David stood on Goliath and cut off Goliath's head using Goliath's own sword.

Your foot should be on the necks of your enemies. 

Jesus said I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.

 It is the God of peace that will bruise Satan shortly under your feet.
