  • Are there such things as false wonders, signs, and miracles?

Yes. not everything "supernatural" (beyond the natural) that occurs is God.

The Bible states clearly from Genesis in the Old Testament through Revelation in the New Testament that there are "supernatural" wonders, signs, and miracles that are NOT God.

For example, Moses dealt with the sorcerers and magicians in Exodus and "the dragon", "beast" and "false prophet" (spoken about in Revelation 16.13-14)-- out of whose mouths come unclean spirits working miracles-- are cast into the lake of fire.

This is why Christians are told to try the spirits. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

By this know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is that spirit of antichrist, of which ye have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (I John 4.1-4)

In Christ,

Bobbie
