"A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth, and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue." Proverbs 18.20-21 You will be full of what you speak. People who speak according to the Word of God--begin to receive and become full of the Word of God--full of the power of God--that will bring every promise to pass in their lives. Their lives begin to manifest the promises of God. They become full of what they speak. Speaking goes first, then you eat what you speak. "Now the just shall live by faith..." Hebrews 10.38 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11.1 We walk by faith--not by sight. If we speak only those things which we see--that is moving in the realm of the senses and will only give limited results. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. As we begin to speak what the Word says about every situation we face and we begin to come in agreement with the Word (not the facts of the situation) then we have moved from the sight (senses, facts) realm into the supernatural truth realm of faith in God and His Word--the realm where all things are possible with God. We begin speaking the truth and the truth overrules the facts and brings to pass in our lives the words that we speak. "And Jesus, answering, saith unto them, have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass he shall have whatever he saith. Therefore, I say unto you, Whatever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11.22-24 Speaking first is God's system--He spoke and then creation came into existence. God said and there was...Words always proceed before anything happens. That is why prayer must go first in order to have God respond--"You have not because you ask not." Words go before miracles occur. Peter spoke, "Lord bid me come to you..." before he could step out of the boat to walk on the water. For the Christian--speaking the Word before we see is the way we eat, live, and do kingdom business. In Christ, Bobbie < |
