Proverbs 31 Woman by Bobbie Powers

Chapter 11

Proverbs 31.11 "The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil."

To be sexually trusted does not just imply the act of adultery on the wife's part. To be sexually trusted means much more than just to abstain from having an affair.

The Proverbs 31 wife is a wife who is aware of her husband's needs. She never withholds sex as a punishment.

The Proverbs 31 wife recognizes marriage as a covenant between her husband, God, and herself. She acknowledges the truth that God has made her one with her husband and that she is to love and honor her husband.

The Proverbs 31 wife knows the value of her husband's mind, will, and emotions. She respects her husband as an individual with differing ideas and concepts than hers. She sees these differences as blessings from God.

The Proverbs 31 wife doesn't nag when there is a problem. Instead she prays and allows God to do any changing of herself and her husband that is necessary.

Finally, the Proverbs 31 wife prays continually for her husband and asks God to use her to bless her husband. She realizes that in blessing him, she herself is blessed.
