Chapter 10   

Proverbs 31.10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies."

A wife has to face many and diverse temptations in today's world of loose morals and sinful lifestyles. In a society where adultery and divorce run rampant a virtuous woman definitely is a priceless treasure to her husband.

A virtuous woman means a woman who is morally excellent or righteous. In addition, virtuous means beneficial, having power,  capacity to act, strength, and courage.

The Proverbs 31 wife recognizes God as sovereign in her life and allows Him to help her stand against temptations. She "walks in the Holy Spirit" through her days. The joy of the Lord is her strength. Her faith stands not just in the words of man's wisdom but in power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.

The Proverbs 31 woman knows how to use discernment in a situation. She also knows when to boldly take action.

Moreover, the Proverbs 31 wife is very beneficial to her husband and to others because of her Godly wisdom and upright character. She does not lie or cheat and can be trusted with great or small matters.
