In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, ask what I shall give thee...II Chronicles 1.7

And Solomon said unto God...Give me, now, wisdom and knowledge...II Chronicles 1.10

And God said unto Solomon...Wisdom and knowledge are granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honor... II Chronicles 1.12

• What is wisdom?

Wisdom is God's will-- it is God's thoughts about something. Wisdom goes beyond what a person can think. God's ways are greater and His thoughts higher than any person could ever achieve. God is omniscient (all knowing).

• How do I get wisdom?

Wisdom only comes from God. Since wisdom is God's thoughts-- you must go to God in Jesus' Name and ask Him to give you wisdom. The book of Proverbs in the Bible is some of the wisdom that God spoke to Solomon after Solomon asked God to give him wisdom. God's wisdom always brings great blessings.

Help in making wise decisions

Read the Bible daily.

Pray (talk to Jesus) often during the day.

Ask yourself what would Jesus do. If Jesus wouldn't say or do something--then don't you say or do it.  You may want to wear a wwjd (what would Jesus do) bracelet to remind yourself.

If you are not sure whether something is the right thing to say, to do, to wear, to go, to buy etc.--then don't do it--leave it alone
