Proverbs 31 Woman by Bobbie Powers

Chapter 22

Proverbs 31.22 "She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple."

First impressions usually last and are difficult to dispel. The Proverbs 31 woman knows that appearances can be deceiving, and that only God looks on the heart. She is also aware of her witness in a lost world.

The Proverbs 31 woman realizes that before the world will listen to what she has to say, they will look at her appearance to see by what right she has to say it.

Therefore, the Proverbs 31 woman is selective in her appearance. She dresses modestly because she realizes that she represents God in a sinful world. She is clean and her clothes are not torn or dirty.

The Proverbs 31 woman does not follow the latest styles, but dresses in what becomes her figure. She prays and asks God to help her to choose correct quality clothing for her needs.

The Proverbs 31 woman recognizes the fact that her appearance is important to God and that she indeed is royalty. Therefore, she must look, act, and dress accordingly.
