Proverbs 31 Woman by Bobbie Powers

Chapter 16

Proverbs 31.16 "She considereth…buyeth…planteth…"

Borrowing money and going into debt for things are not sound business practices. In today's society everything revolves around charge accounts and credit cards. People are encouraged to spend what they don't have in order to maintain a certain worldly lifestyle.

Excessive pressure is then absorbed by the family in order to pay the bills.

This is not God's way for the Proverbs 31 woman. God's way is wisdom and knowledge. The Proverb's 31 woman is a good manager of family finances. She is not swayed by greed.

Before making decisions on finances she prays and seeks God's leadership. She is aware of the Biblical principles concerning business and money because she has studied them in order to gain God's insight into financial freedom and blessing.

Not only does the Proverbs 31 woman know Biblical principles, but also, she applies them to her own financial situations. She knows that when she depends on God as her financial director that she will see as He sees, make the right purchases, have freedom from debt, be blessed, and have an abundance with which to help others, as well as, bless herself and her family.
